So... you might have heard of the Chattanooga Choo Choo?
They actually have railroad cars that you can stay in like a hotel room! The best things in Chattanooga are the ROCK CITY And the Ruby Falls pictured.
The Rock City is located on top of Lookout Mountain, and it is extraordinary. There are waterfalls, and rocks and areas that rival ITHACA NY incredibly. You can see seven states from the top! The place has caves and caverns to walk through where they recreated many of the Grimm Fairytales in nooks and crannies in the darkness of the caves.... they have a lovers leap as well. Then there is Ruby Falls, where you take an elevator down and walk further underground over a thousand feet to see a 145 foot waterfall that is completely underground, within the mountain cavern. It is said to be one of the seven wonders of the USA....
