SUMMER 2023 TRIP TO VERMONT

 We embarked on a two month trip to the beautiful state of Vermont.  Although it was our neighboring state for a good portion of our New York lives- we really never spent any kind of time getting to know this awesome state.  This trip, we  were able to traverse all the nooks and crannies of VT.  Wonderful not only for its natural beauty- but also because it is the only state that allows NON residents to come here to utilize MAID (Medical Assist In Dying) for hospice patients.  Fortunately we both are AOK healthy at this point in our lives- however, it is great knowing that this option does exist IF NEEDED, so that one does not find themselves in the idiotic position that the state of Florida puts MANY people in- that of having to think about putting a bullet in a loved ones head as the only option available to put them out of their misery and suffering.  Sadly- THAT story regularly pops up in Florida, a state that because of its large senior population actually should be a LEADER in MAID!

Places we covered during this trip.... July 24, 2023- Sept 25 2023..... GA, SC, NC, VISITED Rosemary & Vinny...., VA- Harpers Ferry, PA, NY and then a full month in VERMONT! Took a relatively quick trip home in just a weeks time- ending up in Orlando Disney's Epcot to use up the last of those stupid "free" tickets.

 

                 WORLDS LARGEST DRESSER...

LOOK CLOSE- YOU CAN SEE A LITTLE MAN BEHIND THE TIRE.... THIS WAS THE FIRST ATTEMPT TO REPLACE THE PARKER VALVE.... THEY ORDERED THE WRONG PART!!!  I HAD TO ORDER CORRECT PART MYSELF AND HAVE IT SHIPPED UP THE ROAD TO A FUTURE DESTINATION CAMPGROUND... SOMEWHAT OF A HEADACHE!

UGGGHH- NEEDED TO GET ONE OF 4 'PARKER VALVES' REPLACED SO WE COULD LEVEL THE RIG AT CAMPGROUNDS.... VERY COOL THOUGH, AS THEY UTILIZED 4 SEPARATE PORTABLE AIR JACKS!!

Missing from this stop are any pictures of a "Former Mayor" supposedly- this guy dressed in drag and rides his bike around with his music blaring... he came back again and again while we were eating.... quite a bizarre encounter for such an otherwise quite town! Uhh- quiet except for also that TRAIN!!!
