AVA TO ALBANY

After spending some time in the Pulaski area at Brennan Beach with day trips to Oswego, Watertown, Chittenango for OZ and Syracuse, we meandered over to the Sylvan Beach / Rome / Ava area to see some friends and caught this awesome sight of monarch butterflies hovering over milkweed- see if you can count the 9 butterflies in the pic!

 

Speaking of critters.... we had to actually vacuum catch a slew of flying insects that got into our RV at one of the parks!

 

On to Albany to tour the beautiful Albany NY state Capitol building and museum. Terrific ! Can not believe we never took the time to go see them when we lived here!! Also saw Moses in the public park- quite the violation of the first amendment....

We also saw quite a few buildings with big "X"s on them set for either demo or rebirth...
