Charleston, Columbia and Greenville South Carolina.... NO NO ALBERTO!!

Spent 4 days each in Charleston, Columbia and Greenville South Carolina--- all the while keeping an eye on first named storm of 2018, ALBERTO coming up in our direction, apparently looking for us  (and it is not even the start of HURRICANE SEASON!!!!)  Took a look at the boyhood home of icon Steven Colbert in Charleston, FORT SUMTER (where the first shot of the Civil War was fired) had some great food, and took a boat out twice from Freedom Boat Club (FBC).... got to do some pretty good fishing too.  Awesome bike paths going through both Columbia and Greenville and of course the absolutely beautiful Reedy Falls Park in downtown Gville...

Savannah 2018

Visited the very impressive Prohibition Museum in Savannah GA... they had a working recreated speakeasy!  Ice cream at Leopolds....Also did some boating and fishing there.... and saw interesting SHRIMP ART that was a metal sculpture filled with ocean plastic debris :(.....
